Black vs Brown-- mascara and eye liner?

I have always used black eye liner and black mascara and just recently heard that if you have light skin you should use brown. Is this true? I'm white and have blonde hair, should I be using brown mascaras and eye liners??!! I sort of like the dramatic look the black mascara gives, but the eye liner can be a bit heavy. I don't wear lots of make up, usually just eyeliner, mascara and some shadow. Any advice/suggestions?? Thank you!Black vs Brown-- mascara and eye liner?
i would wear the brown..

i am very tan so the black sort of compliments me

but as for you since your more white i would use brown

my friend is like that and i made her trry it

if a like the dramatic look i say stick with black!

when i do makeup, the only time i use brown eye liner or mascara on anyone is wen they request it or if they have very pale skin, freckles, and red hair
For your type of skin I would go with brown instead.
I wear black mascara and eye liner, I have never heard that you should wear brown if you have lighter skin, Its just a personal choice, personally I like black over brown because brown doesnt show up that much and if you like the dramatic look then keep wearing the black.
This is pretty much about personal preference. Try different things, and whatever you like best is what you should do. Personally, I stick to a more neutral eyeliner (browns and greens) to keep my look softer. I use black mascara to make my eyes pop. Brown provides a little bit more natural look. Also, younger women, like under 40, can get away with the black eyeliner... but once wrinkles set in, softer colors are a must. Maybe try Almay's Intense iColor makeup... based on your eye color, it gives you shades that bring your eyes out. Don't be afraid to experiment!
you can play around with all colors of liners and mascaras. browns would create a more natural look. if you like black though, and want to tone it down a little bit, make sure to get closer to the lash line and maybe use a thinner liner. I really like l'oreal products.
use brown or even a grey liner but stick with the black mascara ....
use black mascara- it looks a lot better in my opinion. It flatters your eyes and eyelashes, and black eyeliner is pretty harsh if you're pale so use a brown eyeliner.
u can wear whatever u want to wear i wear purple eyliner with red mascara on some days and on other days i wear all black.it doesnt matter whatever u feel like putting on is what you should wear
supposely ur ';suppose'; to wear brown eyeliner//mascara but u don't have to. some ppl like that dramatic look. try a day and nite look. daytime have brown eyeliner with brown//black mascara and at nitetime try black eyeliner with black mascara

just next time ur out and their is sample makeup, just quickly dab some brown on.if u like it good!

or just buy some super cheap brown eyeliner to test the color and stuff

u can also try out blue eyeliner, or dark brown too!
well dark brown is a little less bold %26amp; crazy. black looks great with dark skin or dark hair or both. but for blondes %26amp; fair skinned ladies, its a cleaner look to use a brown. i think light browns are pointless but dark browns are beautiful. %26amp; try to match your liner color with the mascara. if you use brown mascara it wont look weird- even though it sounds like it would. another thing to do thats fun is to use a dark blue on the inner part of your eyelid. the thin part closest to your eyes. its not to dramatic %26amp; it gives you a subtle glow of whatever color you like! dark purple is a fun one too. HAVE FUN! %26amp; also what color are your eyes? purple seems to bring out eye color so well its amazing. i just bought a pretty purple shadow from MAC last week %26amp; it makes my green eyes pop like crazy!
you can use either. there are different shades of black
I have light skin (to the max) and i've always prefered brown or 'black brown.' It just looks better with my skin i find.
i think brown would be better if your light skinned. but black is ok too but just make sure u don't over do it. or u can alternate and use brown sometimes and black sometimes
it all depends on wat u like if u want a more drematic look then use black but if u want a more softer look then use brown

hope this helps!
