Should you wear eye-shadow if you are wearing eye-liner and mascara?

I've never worn makeup before, and I wanna wear eyeliner and mascara, but would that look stupid if I'm not wearing eyeshadow? Cos I'm not sure if I wanna wear eyeshadow.Should you wear eye-shadow if you are wearing eye-liner and mascara?
No, it wouldn't look stupid. Sometimes when i don't feel like doing a lot before i get ready to go to school, i'll just put a little eyeliner on and some mascara. or sometimes i even only wear just mascara depending on how i feel.

But some days i feel like matching my eyeshadow to my shirt or something and it doesn't look stupid. I just put the eyeshadow on then i put a thin line of eyeliner over it, on the top lid then put some eyeliner on the bottom and finish with mascara.

Just wear what you're comfortable with until you feel comfortable enough to change it up.

And what you described just the eyeliner and the mascara just gives you a little more of a natural look.

Good luck, i'm sure you're be pretty either way : )Should you wear eye-shadow if you are wearing eye-liner and mascara?
Many teen girls do it but I personally feel it looks unfinished and sometimes even a little trashy. I am a professional licensed cosmetologist and couldn't imagine no eyeshadow with eyeliner. I think that you don't have to glam it out with crazy eye shadow techniques and colors, but even a neutral color would work. Light browns, pinks, gold, bronzers, etc. Some eyeshadows are even roll on if you feel like it would be easier. They are made by covergirl.
it dont look stupid. but i use bronzer as my eyeshadow. its the same color as your skin but still gives you a little sparkle. it really make your eyes stand out when you use all three, but just using eyeliner and mascara is fine. just remember line the inside of your lower lash line and on the top start at the inside corner and gradually make the line thicker as you work out.

good luck :)
Hey honey

yeah course you can. my advise would be to try and buy on of MAC's paint pots they work as a eye primer as well as a great base for eyeshaddows to bring out the intensity in colours. it for multi use. a great nude one is MAC's paintly or groundwork depending on what colour you prefer. another great one is MAC's bare study which is a light shimmery gold colour. that looks amazing with just a little brown/black/silver/grey in the crease area with mascara. check out tutorials on youtube if you haven't already. you'll be suprised at how much you can really learn from them, you might even enjoy it.
you dont have to wear eyeshadow. it will look just fine if you dont. but maybe just try a light tan and brown. its very neutral and makes your eyes more noticable and makes them pop. just spread a light shimmery tan across the lid then put the brown on the outer corners, it takes about 30 seconds.

heres some neutral shades you could find anywhere:

You should just wear mascara and eyeliner because if you start to put on eyeshadow too it will look a bit over the top. It actually depends which colour you want the eyeshadow to be. If its a really pale pink maybe you should go for it. If its a really vibrant colour maybe not. Hoped I Helped. x
It actually looks quite nice and natural to wear eyeliner and mascara without any shadow.

Just don't wear eyeliner without mascara, that would look weird.
I dont wear eyeshadow unless its a special day, i just wear a very thin line of eyeliner and mascara to make my lashes look nice and thick and defined (my lashes are a failure lol).
haha if your going to wear those three together you do them in this order

eyeshadow

liner

mascara

many people wear them all together its fine
no that just creates a neutral look

i do it all the time

just put on some nude lip gloss to look better
you can but you don't have to. You won't look stupid, just more natural and it'll be just lovely :)
No, it wouldn't look stupid at all.
no u don't have to i don't and it doesn't look bad
